Jabra has formally announced the winners of its annual channel awards at the Jabra One Partner Conference.

The event, held at The Wood Norton Hotel in Worcestershire on November 6, recognised outstanding efforts by Jabra partners during a year that has seen the headset manufacturer focus on developing audio devices that improve productivity and call experience for its customers.

This year’s winners were:

•Distributor of the Year – Nimans

•Overall Channel Partner of the Year – Computacenter (UK) Ltd

•Growth Partner of the Year – CCS Media

•Outstanding Commitment Partner of the Year – Corptel uk

•Reseller of the Year – Softcat plc

The Jabra One Partner conference saw Jabra’s channel partners, including Ingram Micro, Rocom, Go 2 Telecom and Bechtle, gather to take part in a one-day conference, including plenary sessions and presentations. Speakers included senior Jabra executives such as Nigel Dunn, Managing Director EMEA North, and Yves Dupuis, Senior Vice President, Global Enterprise Solutions, SME.

As well as the annual evening awards ceremony, day conference highlights included discussion of Jabra’s strategic focus on improving collaboration, concentration and productivity for office and call centre workers. This included the channel’s first sight of Jabra Evolve 65t – true wireless earbuds providing professional-grade sound for users who demand perfect call quality whether they’re on the move or in the office.

“Since launching our new Jabra One channel programme in 2017, we’ve grown an enviable network of channel partners that don’t just understand our portfolio, but fully grasp the issues we are helping businesses to solve,” said Nigel Dunn.

“As a totally indirect business, we depend on our partners for sell out, so events like the Jabra One Partner Conference are crucial to keep our channel community fully engaged with our strategy and mission,” continued Dunn. “We’d like to thank every partner who attended and to congratulate the winners who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to understanding businesses’ pain points – for example, the problem that office noise and distractions causes to employee productivity.”

“In our industry, we talk about ‘solutions’ rather than products, but our success depends on our partners being committed to solving real-life business pain points. These awards are our opportunity to thank our resellers and distributors for all their hard work and outstanding performance in supporting our brand. We look forward to even greater success in the year ahead,” he concluded.
