New Appointments at Networks First

Networks First, specialist maintainer of network infrastructures has reported continued business growth and expansion following the company’s announcement of strong profits for the financial year 2004 / 2005 in July 2005

Now, the independent multi-vendor, mixed technology partner-focused provider of support services for network infrastructures, is announcing a series of new appointments, including a new Service Delivery Manager Mike Morrison and the introduction of a new Warrington based office.

Mike Morrison has joined Networks First in a new role as Service Delivery Manager, to play a key role in establishing and maintaining long-term support relationships with Networks First’s Partners. Morrison will be part of the Sales and Service Delivery teams, working directly with customers by assisting the sales team in winning new business, managing the transition of the new business and subsequently monitoring and reporting on the services being delivered.

Commenting on his new role, Morrison said, “Networks First has established itself as the largest specialist maintainer of network infrastructures in the UK; it is very exciting for me to be able to use my knowledge and experience in partner services and service delivery to further the company’s development. I am looking forward to working with the highly skilled Sales and Service Delivery teams at Networks First and also to the key role I will play in establishing and maintaining the long-term support relationships with Networks First’s Partners.”

Networks First’s growth is based upon providing 24 hour, 365 day a year service and a commitment to ensuring that the quality of service continually exceeds expectations. Networks First has achieved this through their highly trained engineers based at their offices in the West Midlands, London, Glasgow and now at a new fourth office in Warrington. The Warrington office will further enable Networks First to realise this commitment of high quality service, and rapid response times. Currently two engineers are based at Warrington enabling faults to be dealt with more efficiently and effectively in the area, with plans in place to develop the new office further.

In addition, further appointments have been made to support all areas of Networks First’s business. Kathryn Milnes has joined as a Sales Support Specialist, who, with 20 years of sales experience will provide a high level of pre- and post-sales support. Nick Morgan has joined as Business Development Executive; his role will be helping to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and partners. Finally, Debbie Lawrie has joined the Service Delivery team and will be the primary contact on the helpdesk, logging faults as they come in and assigning engineers to be sent out to locations.

Peter Titmus, Managing Director for Networks First, comments, “At Networks First we are focused on continually building upon the quality of our current services and support by improving our skills and accreditations within the emerging technology markets. We have a strong team with a wealth of experience that enables us to offer a high level of support to our customers and partners. We are delighted to be bringing new members into our team and look forward to working with them further establishing Networks First’s presences as the UK’s largest specialist maintainer of network infrastructures.”
