Nimans Share Samsung Wireless Vision with Partners

Distributors
Dealers travelled hundreds of miles to discover more about the Samsung Communication Manager Compact platform at a special sales training event at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters which was full to capacity.

Attendees learned how the SCMC is aimed at the 16-512 user extension market –part of Samsung’s vision to be the premier wireless communication platform provider.

“We are very excited by this product. It’s slightly overdue with lots of new features and we’re looking forward to learning more and capturing lots of sales,” said a Warrington-based dealer afterwards. “I’m glad I took a day out of the office to come and see it. Obviously there’s still a lot to learn but with the support of Nimans and events of this nature, it helps us tremendously along the way.”

A Salisbury-based counterpart added: “It’s fantastic. Samsung has shown their drive towards pure SIP solutions, moving away from the TDM and hybrid and this product sits nicely in our mid-range market. It will benefit us greatly. I’ve travelled a long way to come here but the training has answered all my questions so it’s definitely been worthwhile.”

Resellers discovered how the SCMC was very easy to configure with no need for SIP Trunk or Voicemail to e-mail licences. High levels of encrypted security are available as part of the pure IP system. Along with its bigger Samsung Communication Manager Express (for up to 3,000 users) resellers could now address 95% of the market.

Positioning, hardware overview, configuration, applications, features and also sales opportunities formed part of the day-long event.

John McKindland, Nimans’ Head of Solutions, System Sales, says the distributor is playing a frontline role in reseller adoption.

“The SCMC platform has earned plenty of praise for low total cost of ownership, scalability, easy management, mobility and enhanced system resilience. It’s a welcome addition to our portfolio.”

He added: “Particularly impressive is the ability to connect desk phones as well as mobiles wirelessly. It’s based on seamless integration as part of an end-to-end solution.”

Week-long technical training takes place at Nimans on May 16th and 23rd.
