Tiscali Signs Reciprocal Deal with NetServices PLC

Tiscali, the internet and broadband company, has announced a partnership with voice and data services provider NetServices PLC

The reciprocal supplier agreement will allow NetServices to offer significant savings to its customers on Tiscali’s wholesale Local Loop Unbundled (LLU) services. Tiscali will be able to offer its channel partners and resellers access to NetServices’ comprehensive business product portfolio including its conferencing platform and Remote Worker solution that transforms a traditional analogue line into a fully featured business line.

Tiscali’s wholesale LLU will allow NetServices to offer its customers speeds of up to 8Mb and 24Mb in areas where Tiscali is using ADSL 2+ technology.

Nathan Francis, UK General Manager of Tiscali Business Services says: “NetServices are exceptional in the level of development they undertake in-house. They have an innovative range of products made compelling by their converged nature.”

Tiscali is one of the few proven wholesale LLU providers and competitors to BT in the UK. Tiscali will continue to offer multiplatform broadband services with an aim to providing unbundled services where it makes economic sense.

Mark Vickers, CEO of Netservices says: “NetServices already has a strong converged offering however with the addition of LLU this reciprocal agreement allows both NetServices and Tiscali to attack the BT Feature Line market estimated at about 1M users and approximately £2 billion in revenues, something the reseller channel have not previously had the opportunity to do.”
