Fantasy Football - Tonight's Final

Last week we saw the last of our Fantasy Football League (for this season anyway), prizes are winging their way to the top three, but as one of them is currently galavanting around France, we're delaying the presentations. So this week, as a filler, we'll be looking at tonight's Champions League Final.

AC Milan v Liverpool

In a rematch of the 2005 final in Istanbul, AC and Liverpool will again meet tonight for the chance to become Europe's top club.

The Italians will be looking for blood following their defeat from a 3-0 winning position at half time two years ago only to lose on penalties, and go into the match as favourites. Liverpool will be looking to get something out of this season, and although underdogs are confident in the win.

Gerrard said: "We want to be heroes and come back as winners.

"To win one final was absolutely magnificent - to do it twice would be really special. It will put us up there with the great European teams."

Milan forward Kaka denies his team-mates will see this as a grudge match in revenge for two years ago.

"For me, the motivation is to get to a final and have the possibility of winning the Champions League," he said.

"Everyone's talking about revenge for what happened in 2005 but I think what happened is a thing of the past. It happened. We lost that final, Liverpool were the champions and it will always be remembered that way."

Call me unpatriotic if you will, but being a Chelsea fan I'm not to keen on seeing Liverpool win tonight. I know they're an English side, and it would be great for English football, but I have an affiliation with Milan (see me below sitting in Carlo Ancelotti's dressing room at the San Siro next to a pic of Silvio Berlusconi) and I'll be cheering for AC along with the rest of the Milanese.

Jim's prediction: Liverpool to score first through Gerrard, with Milan to equalise before half-time. Kaka to score the winner in the final 15 leaving it 2-1 to Milan at the end of the 90 (at least that's what I've bet on).
