Peter Jones buys back Phones International

Phones International CEO Peter Jones has bought back the 25% stake in the company that he sold to Credit Suisse less than a year ago. At the time the deal was variously said to be worth something between £3m and £20m, and it gave Data Select’s parent a hefty line of credit which reportedly would be used to buy other distributors. That didn’t happen, but it’s not clear how or why Jones bought back the stake.
