Roaming price levels for non-Europeans travelling in Europe are likely to rise following the European Parliament’s approval of new retail price controls, Informa Telecoms & Media. A number of European mobile operators told Informa that they’ll be asking operators outside to reduce their wholesale roaming charges, and if they don’t the European operators will increase their own wholesale charges – which will then be passed on to non-European travellers.
