Aastra Increases Number of Gold Plus Partners

Bridgend-based telecoms reseller, JVH Group and Applegarth of Leeds have both been awarded Gold Plus status in Aastra Telecom’s Partner Programme, bringing the total number of Gold Plus partners to six, up 50% on this time last year.

Viv Singh, head of channel for Aastra says, “All our resellers are going from strength to strength and we are on target to promote another two to Gold Plus status by the end of the year, taking the total number to eight. We significantly increased the number of Gold Plus partners we had this time last year, which is a great achievement at a time when many of our competitors’ resellers are struggling to keep their top tier positions.”

Vernon Hopkins from JVH Group says, “We are totally committed to Aastra. The product is great and the people are easy to deal with, quick to help and very knowledgeable. The Gold Plus accreditation will give our customers further confidence in dealing with us.”

Both JVH and Applegarth have made a real commitment to Aastra, having installed a fully featured IntelliGate system in-house with fully portable demonstration equipment, to be able to properly present all the features and benefits of the Aastra system. In addition, the JVH and Applegarth sales and support teams have attended comprehensive training sessions on IntelliGate to ensure their product knowledge is second to none.

Michael Calvert, general manager for Aastra UK says, “Our Gold Plus partners set the standard for ‘best practice’. They are totally committed to the Aastra product and brand and they see a real return on their investment. “

The six Aastra Gold Plus Partners are Admiral Voice & Data, Channel Communications, Check Communications, Opus and the recent additions of Applegarth and JVH.
