Aastra Training Triumph For Nimans

Aastra resellers from across the north of England converged at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters to discover the secrets to sales success on how to position the new Aastra 400 series – communication servers with UC collaboration at their heart.

Dealers voted the day-long sales training exercise a resounding triumph as they picked up key tips and advice on how to maximise order potential for Aastra’s innovative SMB platform which they were able to experience ‘in the flesh’ for the first time.

One Leeds-based reseller confirmed afterwards: “It was very important to get all my sales team over to enhance their skills and knowledge. The functionality of the 400 series is absolutely amazing. The initial feedback I am getting is that it’s a bit of an eye opener. The integration with Outlook stands out. It’s a very powerful platform which I’m sure will become an equally powerful sales tool for us, opening many more doors to further grow our business. Events like this play a crucial role in helping us go to market with confidence and knowledge.”

The Aastra 400 series comprises three versions – the Aastra 415 for 4 to 12 users; Aastra 430 for up to 50 users and the Aastra 470 for up to 400 users (or 600 multi-site), utilising open system architecture for maximum future proof expandability. They all provide a wide range of embedded services such as presence, video telephony, fixed mobile convergence, one number, auto attendant and voice mail.

Nimans’ Aastra Business Manager, Allan Merten, enthused: “We’ve so far made a flying start with the Aastra 400, with dozens of orders placed and demo kits despatched. All three versions support legacy connections, so SMB’s can migrate to IP at their own pace. All types of trunks and extensions are also supported.”
