Aastra UK Launches Sales Incentive Scheme for Reseller Partners

Aastra has launched a Reseller Incentive programme in the UK dedicated to its SMB unified communications portfolio. The incentive programme running until the end of 2010, is a points based scheme open to all Aastra reseller partners in the UK that choose to participate.

The objective of this programme is to promote to partner sales staff Aastra’s SMB solutions that include the IntelliGate IP phone systems, fixed mobile convergence with the Aastra Mobile Client, presence management and mobility with IP DECT. Points accrued can be redeemed for a range of prizes including electronic goods. Special event days such as rally driving tuition, spa pampering or hot air ballooning can also be enjoyed.

Aastra has created a dedicated incentive programme microsite where partner sales people can log-on to participate in the programme. At the end of the year the sales person with the most points will win an additional special prize of a luxury weekend away for two.

Commenting on the new Reseller Incentive programme Debbie Hage, Head of UK Marketing for Aastra said, “The key drivers for sales success are recognition and reward. Our new incentive partner programme is designed to provide both for our reseller partner sales teams. The points based structure of the scheme allows sales people to redeem points against sales, or to accrue the points from multiple sales to secure the bigger prizes on offer. In addition the points league table on the microsite is an instant indicator of sales success, against the peer group. We believe our reseller partners and their sales teams will be engaged and energised by the programme.”

Market research data collated by Canalys, the independent research organisation, shows that Aastra was ranked second in the PBX/IP PBX market sector and first for the SMB segment of this market for the EMEA region in 2009.
