Arrow Electronics extends AWS collaboration

Cloud
Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has extended its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) by significantly increasing AWS Certifications and introducing a training programme.

Arrow has integrated AWS into its ArrowSphere cloud platform in 19 European countries, and now has certifications across all major categories, including architect, operations, developer and security.

Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has passed the 100 AWS Certifications mark through the AWS Partner Network (APN). AWS Certifications validate expertise in cloud computing to help customers identify APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.

“Arrow continues to make significant investments in our team’s AWS capabilities. Achieving the AWS 100 Certification mark is a big milestone and validates the hard work and effort of our team,” said Alexis Brabant (pictured above), vice president of sales of Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA. “As a leading value-add distributor in the cloud channel, we are committed to helping customers develop new capabilities, build their cloud practice and optimise their AWS experience.”

Arrow's channel clients and end customers have access to AWS in combination with Arrow's value-added services. They have access to the full software portfolio to support “bring your own licence”, local pre-sales, business development and APN support, improved payment options, billing management, and specialist training, such as the Arrow Cloud Belts training programme.

The Arrow Cloud Belts programme was developed to help channel customers build the skills needed to achieve AWS Certifications. Participants progress through seven levels, from white to black belt, covering the fundamentals to the highest level of automation in the cloud.
