AT Communications Group Plc has appointed William Halbert, former founder and CEO of Syntegra, BT’s global consulting and systems integration business, as non Executive Director of the Group, with immediate effect.
Halbert is currently the founding President of a new US based venture, Sprint Enterprise Mobility Inc., which he has recently established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the US telecoms group Sprint-Nextel. He is also Chairman of Vistorm Limited, a UK based specialist in IT security systems.
Previously he spent 13 years as CEO of Syntegra, growing it to become a leader in its field, employing more than 5,000 people world wide and supporting customers in over 50 countries.
