AudioCodes, a provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, has announced it has expanded its global ecosystem of partners with leading Microsoft Voice Specialized Partners (VSPs). Addressing large enterprises, the partnerships enable delivery of products and services on a global basis for gradual migration and rapid adoption of Microsoft Lync.

“AudioCodes is a key strategic partner in BT’s Symphony ecosystem which globally delivers BT System Integration and Managed UC/Voice services,” said Randy Schrock, Vice President of Solutions, BT Global Services. “The breadth of AudioCodes solutions for Microsoft Lync encompasses Enhanced Media Gateways, Survivable Branch Appliances, Enterprise Session Border Controllers, mobility and call recording enabling BT to deliver and deploy best of breed Microsoft Lync turnkey solutions. In addition to offering Microsoft Lync product solutions, the AudioCodes and BT Symphony partnership is designed to engage customers with a single holistic approach to turnkey Unified Communications solutions.”

“AudioCodes’ Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) gateways have been an integral part of our Microsoft Lync offering,” said Mike Nelson, Principal at Integrated Access Solutions. “The AudioCodes SBA gateways support scaling, capacity and interface options that allow IAS to deliver Lync functionality to our customer’s remote branch locations.”

“Many of our clients require Lync deployments which include remote site support,” said Alex Osorio, Microsoft Practice Manager at Nexus IS. “The AudioCodes Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) gateways deliver reliability and survivability to local branch Lync users even when the WAN is disrupted to the headquarters office. In addition, AudioCodes Gateways and SBAs have the same core architecture, software and management facilities to reduce our ongoing training and support requirements while offering our clients investment protection.”
