SolutionsPath Fundamentals consists of training modules covering 13 technology and two business areas that give partners the flexibility to attend quarterly or biannual face-to-face training sessions or to study online. With the focus on hot topics such as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Cloud Computing and Virtualised Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), SolutionsPath Fundamentals aims to educate Avnet business partners on the latest trends and encourages them to share vital knowledge with their own teams. The result will be employees who are better equipped to recommend tailored business solutions that solve customer challenges irrespective of technology.

As part of the SolutionsPath Fundamentals training programme, Avnet has scheduled nearly 50 two-hour sessions over the next 15 months. Each session follows a standard format to educate partners on the relevance of the technology area, its application in a customer environment and the acronyms and terminology associated with it. The sessions, delivered by Avnet’s experienced team of solutions development managers at Avnet offices in Bracknell and Leeds, are supported by a comprehensive range of online materials. Avnet will broadcast each session via a secure webcast to enable interactive participation for remote delegates, backed up with a compressed version participants can share directly with customers.
