Beta have announced two key recruitments to strengthen their sales, service and solutions proposition in the Enterprise Technology space.
Miguel Castro has joined as Head of Solutions Architecture. In this newly created role, Castro will be providing in-depth technical and implementation support to MSPs and VARs, working with them from project inception right through to final delivery.
Castro has been in the IT industry for over 13 years, with his most recent role at network storage solutions vendor Infortrend, where he was Technical Manager.
Castro is looking forward to using his expertise and experience to make Beta the ‘go to’ partner for Enterprise products and solutions. He commented. ‘Beta have invested greatly, and will continue to do so, in disruptive brands and technology supported by high quality service and support’. He added. ‘My job is to make sure that this knowledge and expertise is accessible to our partners’.
On the Sales side, Chris Moore has joined Beta as Head of Sales for the newly opened Northern Sales office in Leeds. Moore was previously Sales Manager at CMS Distribution where he has been for the last 19 years. He sees enormous opportunity at Beta. ‘I was really impressed with the ambition and ongoing investment plans that Beta has to become a leading player in the Enterprise market’. He continued. ‘A really strong product and brand portfolio plus a very clear vision of how to succeed in this market were two of the main factors in deciding to become part of this very exciting journey’.
The new Northern Sales office is now open and Moore is currently recruiting experienced Enterprise sales people. ‘We opened an office in the centre of Leeds to further our expansion of our Technology Solutions Division and to increase support for Northern based partners’. He continued. ‘The main focus will be on the Enterprise product portfolio so we need to get the right people in place and we will be announcing further details shortly as the team builds.’
Ben Jackson, Director of Technology Sales at Beta was keen to point out the significance of the recruitment of Moore and Castro. ‘I am delighted that we have been able to bring such highly qualified people into our business, one from a competitor and one from an important vendor. Attracting people of this calibre is testament to the fact that we have successfully developed a meaningful proposition in the Enterprise arena’.
