Business is ‘Healthy’ for PSU

Company Secures Telecoms Contract with The New Victoria Hospital

ICT provider PSU Technology Group (PSU), has just been awarded another key health sector telecoms contract.

The deal will see PSU provide a telecoms installation upgrade for the Kingston upon Thames based, The New Victoria Hospital, from its existing InterTel Axxess system to a new Mitel Communications Platform. This will be supported with an ongoing maintenance service contract.

With the new Mitel 5000 HX Business Phone System, The New Victoria Hospital will gain a solution that leverages the benefits of converged networks to help further drive performance and cost savings, while enhancing reporting and billing processes. With the addition of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), which instantly displays each caller’s profile information onto the user’s desktop, the hospital will also gain faster call response times, while delivering even higher levels of service to their customers.

Commenting about the new deal, Michael Lounton, Managing Director, PSU Technology Group said: “We are very pleased to have won this telecoms contract, as it further strengthens our position within the health sector, following our recent win with East Grinstead NHS. As a fully integrated ICT provider, we are always looking to extend the range of products and services that we provide to this industry.”
