ByBox launches Tech Resource

ByBox, the locker solutions specialist has now extended its offering with the launch of Tech Resource. This new arm of ByBox provides customers with a truly seamless service enabling them to strip further costs and inefficiencies out of their supply chains.

Immediacy is the very bedrock of the telecommunications industry. Systems need to not only be secure and swift, but also robust and reliable. For many years ByBox has worked extensively within the telecommunications sector distributing parts that are required – often at short notice, around the clock, or in remote locations – to maintain crucial networks.

Through Tech Resource, ByBox is now able to offer a complete end-to-end solution – from sourcing parts, warehousing, distribution, simple swap outs and non-intensive installations through to a bespoke high-end engineering solution for more complex tasks – including managing the repair loop and returning items back to good stock.

In less than a decade ByBox has transformed the field services market with its network of more than 18,000 lockers at 1,500 locations across the UK. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the lockers are situated at convenient locations such as petrol stations, supermarkets and shopping centres. Parts are delivered pre-8am to lockers or direct to site; it is a solution which suits the immediacy of today’s business environment whilst at the same time offering the total flexibility which a sector such as communications requires – demands which traditional delivery models are simply unable to meet.

Offering the largest ad-hoc supplier of technical resource in the UK, ByBox now has a national in-house engineering workforce of around 340 multi-skilled engineers.
