Innovaphone and Yeastar distributor North Supply has appointed channel veteran Chris Lee as Sales Manager as the company seeks to widen its channel reach.
Lee, who has spent his entire career in the ICT sector, had previously spent time in senior channel positions at GPT/Siemens, Inter-Tel and latterly Mitel, where he was their Sales Director for Indirect Sales in the south of the UK.
“North Supply is an impressive firm with a long heritage in providing customer service excellence to a client base that includes BT. Now, with the addition of Yeastar and Innovaphone, we are set to provide UK channels with two solutions that offer ways of differentiating their customer portfolios.”
Lee says that both Yeastar and Innovaphone provide cloud-based Unified Communications solutions for SME and Enterprise customers.
“Service is provided via our own cloud from a data centre located in Slough and this was a big attraction for me in joining North Supply as I am not aware of another distributor doing this for themselves.
As well as offering UCaaS and Hosted Telephony, both Yeastar and Innovaphone are also available as customer premises-based solutions for the significant number of resellers and users that still prefer these deployment models.
North Supply can offer these resellers and users not only an installation and maintenance service wrap but also a simple migration path to the cloud should they subsequently want it.”
Richard Potts, Managing Director of North Supply commented, “We are clearly pleased to have someone of Chris’s experience join us. His channel knowledge and wide understanding of the market will be of great benefit to both ourselves and our reseller partners as we all seek to emerge from these difficult and challenging times.”
