Chess has opened a new office and it’s second in less than a year.
Following a strong growth period with over 12 acquisitions made in 2012 and a growing online presence Chess needed more space to accommodate for new people to work with their 30,000 strong customer base.
David Pollock, Chief Executive of Chess, commented “Our success is down to our people and their hard work, talent and skill. We’re a great place to work and a great place to be a customer and this comes down to our people maximising their potential and offering a level of service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. We created 37 new jobs last year in anticipation of a busy 2013 and on our website you’ll see we’re currently recruiting for 24 differing roles, looking for talented people who have the positive energy and attitudes we look for that can secure the future success of our business.”
Chess are a customer-focused business having been voted as a Sunday Times best company for the last four consecutive years and were the first telecoms business to be awarded with a Customer First award.
Anne Binnie, HR Director at Chess, stated “We’re proud to be offering a successful nationwide service yet sticking to our roots and offering exciting job opportunities to the people of the North West. We’re an ambitious organisation with a desire to grow and be great at what we do. Our new office is yet another example that growing a business is about investing in your people.”
