Cisco selects Axonex as one of only four partners worldwide to drive Cisco’s BYOD strategy

Axonex today announced that it has been selected by Cisco to be one of just four partners worldwide to drive the Cisco Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategy as part of a global pilot program.

This pilot program will allow Axonex the opportunity to be at the forefront in communicating Cisco’s BYOD message providing our customers immediate access to solutions that make BYOD a reality for companies and organizations. The cornerstone of this strategy is based upon Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE) and AnyConnect Technologies.

Axonex Director, Tom Bane commented, “The accelerating growth of IT consumerisation has had a significant impact on users of tablets and personal mobile devices requesting access to company networks. Being invited by Cisco to participate in this global program highlights the recognition by Cisco of our ATP accreditations and market channel leadership position which will allow our customers early access to these solutions.”

This Cisco BYOD pilot invitation follows on from the recent announcement of Axonex becoming the UK’s First Authorised Technology Provider for Cisco’s Identity Services Engine.
