Collaboration trends are set to become an even bigger talking point throughout 2016 – fuelled by innovative product developments – according to Nimans.
Nimans says the emergence of innovations which enable group collaboration from the likes of Polycom (the RealPresence Trio 8800) along with Jabra’s SPEAK 810 speakerphone add a dynamic edge to conference calling to revolutionise business meetings and overall productivity.
“There’s little doubt the market is moving into a compelling new area of activity where smarter and more advanced technologies are driving collaboration further forward,” says Nimans’ Head of Conferencing Sales, Ian Brindle.
Ian says the Polycom RealPresence Trio 8800, for example, is much more than a traditional audio conferencing desktop device. It features a vibrant 5” touchscreen and offers the ability to voice opinions, share ideas and see reactions.
“A dynamic design is complemented by many advanced features in what’s being hailed as the most exceptional audio experience ever thanks to enhanced HD Voice technology. In addition, users can share concepts and images from PC or tablet in HD resolution with an optional accessory which can also be used to provide cost-effective HD video calling with a USB camera to easily transform audio calls into a rich and engaging video experience.”
Nimans is also shouting about a new ‘plug-and-play’ collaboration conferencing innovation from Jabra which is designed for larger rooms and features ‘ZoomTalk microphones’.
The Jabra SPEAK 810 delivers effective collaboration and eliminates common pain points such as set-up issues, connectivity to platforms and poor sound quality, which often hampers meeting productivity.
Ian highlighted: “Resellers now have a powerful new weapon to take to market to significantly enhance business collaboration in larger meeting rooms. The unique benefit of the SPEAK 810 is that it offers seamless integration with all the leading UC platforms as part of a complete all-in-one solution. It removes the need for costly IP lines and is an intuitive and cost-effective way to facilitate group collaboration and enhance productivity.
“2016 will see collaboration trends further strengthen, to open up more sales opportunities or resellers.”
