Comdasys Enable SIP provision by SPs

Connectivity company Comdasys says that Service Providers can now use their Comdasys Convergence Systems to easily deliver SIP Trunks to their customers.

By deploying Comdasys Convergence systems at their customer premises, Service Providers are able to securely connect existing telecommunications equipment (both TDM and VoIP based) to their SIP trunking offerings.

“With the transformation of business communications, connections using managed SIP trunks will eventually be the standard way of connecting PBXs to the outside world. SIP trunks will provide real economic and operational benefits to Service Providers and their customers. The challenge for Service Providers will however lie in the delivery of this service into the customer network through a shared network link. The Comdasys Convergence systems are an ideal solution for that will therefore allow SIP trunk Service Providers to capture this market”, added Marco Genoni, CEO of Stratatech Group, www.stratatechgroup.com.

“The Comdasys Convergence systems reduce cost and complexity in the deployment of remote IP communications. In addition to that, the flexibility of our Convergence line of products enables Service Providers to largely automate the process of delivering SIP trunks while maintaining a broad range of integration scenarios for their customers. Therefore, a new SIP trunk can be made available to a business customer and be in use in a timeframe significantly shorter than that required for a TDM trunkline. SIP trunk Service Providers can thus successfully offer upgrading the business customer’s communications services”, said M. Martin Bitzinger, CTO of Comdasys.
