Comms-care celebrates 10 years supporting the IT channel

Comms-care today celebrated its 10th year in business. Since launching in 2002 as a hardware maintenance and installation start-up, Comms-care has grown into a successful IT support provider as a result of its 100% channel focused business model, superior customer service support and its ability to keep up with innovation.

During its 10 years of operation, Comms-care has become the IT channel’s preferred services support partner for many of the UK’s top 100 VARs and is accredited by leading brands including VMWare, Cisco and Microsoft. It has also established a reliable nationwide network of highly qualified engineers who are able to respond quickly to partner needs across a wide range of technologies and multi-vendor products.

“We are thrilled to have grown our business in a highly competitive market and take great pride in our achievements during our decade of successful development,” said Ben Davies, Managing Director at Comms-care. “Moving forward our plan is to invest in core technical knowledge training so that we can offer higher value support services in an environment where end-user customers are used to accessing IT support 24 hours a day. Investing in learning and introducing new services will support Comms-care’s strategy to build our business as a multi-vendor expert. This is vital to our future business as more resellers are looking to get everything from one supplier. We will also continue to nurture staff and reward those who are willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our partners and to bring new talent into the industry with our on-going apprentice schemes.”

Comms-care recently embarked on a nationwide recruitment drive to ensure it can meet future demands from the channel for strategic services and technical expertise. This will include services around data virtualisation, managed services, BYOD and cloud computing. Comms-care is also looking for new partners with a similar ‘customer focused’ ethos as it continues its expansion.

Richard Eglon, Marketing Director at Comms-care said: “Our current recruitment drive is the biggest in our history and we believe that it holds the key to our future success. We want to maintain and attract new partnership agreements and it’s crucial that we are able to offer strategic support, especially in more complex environments. Investing in technical knowledge and training the right people will ensure that we stay ahead of our competition and help expand the services we offer to resellers.”
