In addition to learning about planned new Mitel products and recent feature enhancements to the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP), the Mitel resellers were provided with overviews on wireless solutions and marketing opportunities.
The briefing was introduced by Will Morey, Mitel Managing Director for Crane and Robert Hutton, SME Business Director for Mitel. As part of the briefing resellers were invited to provide feedback to both Crane and Mitel on the products and services provided. This was followed by an awards dinner where Crane recognised reseller achievements for 2006.
Ashland Group plc were presented with their Mitel Platinum Solutions Provider certificate for 2007, as well as Crane Mitel's "Reseller of the Year" and "Vertical Marketing Campaign" awards.

Crane's Mitel special achievement awards were scooped by resellers Britannic Technologies for their successes in the enterprise sector and Scotland based reseller Commsworld for their consistent high sales throughout 2006. Glamorgan Telecom were awarded "Best Newcomer" award for their outstanding SME and Enterprise sales achieved since adopting the Mitel portfolio.
