With more than three quarters (78%) of organisations formally adopting at least one cloud-based service with this number only set to rise, resellers must broaden the scope of their offerings for their increasingly cloud-savvy customer base and ensure scalable private and hybrid cloud solutions are available or risk losing out on huge potential revenue says Cube52.
Cube52 has launched a private and hybrid cloud solution headed up by Matthew Munson and Robin Ellis, who between them have around 25 years’ experience in the data centre industry. The new offerings are based on the Microsoft Cloud OS vision and the Cisco/Netapp ‘Flexpod’ architecture to provide Cube52’s customers with a standardised, flexible cloud infrastructure that can support a variety of workloads and applications.
The Cube52 platforms can be white labelled to enable the partner community to build and deploy its own branded applications on an infrastructure that can scale; from dedicated private cloud to fully elastic public cloud. Cube52’s technology is centred on its intuitive self-service cloud portal that provides a single point of access, configuration and control 24×7 from which resellers can focus on the workloads, applications and solutions that will drive their business forward.
Munson and Ellis have reinvested £3 million from the sale of BlueSquare Data, the data centre based provider of colocation services which they sold in 2010, and spent last two years developing Cube52. The team has invested heavily in technology innovation to offer the partner community an extra layer of credibility for them to add value to their client base and expand their cloud offerings.
“Resellers have to broaden the scope of their offerings for their increasingly cloud-savvy customer base,” explains Matthew Munson, CTO, Cube52. “We are at the forefront of that mission, by allowing resellers to white label Cube52’s offerings, so that they can in turn, offer scalable on premise, private and hybrid cloud solutions to their own customers under their own brand, which is totally portable with no tie ins. Our clients have complete control over the appearance, policy and support, along with access to infrastructure. The partner community has thus far been slow to truly embrace the cloud because of the barriers of entry. Cube52 removes these barriers and allows resellers to offer a branded, best-of-breed private and hybrid cloud solution to its client base.”
“We are committed to making our customers cloud experience productive and rewarding. Key to this is access – whenever you need it, wherever you are, and whatever device you use. The cloud access portal delivers on this commitment; with intuitive self-service access to the resources needed, available 24×7 from a single pane of glass. We have invested heavily in technology innovation to offer the partner community an extra layer of credibility for them to add value to their client base and expand their cloud offerings” says Munson.

“If cloud is new to you and your customers, we can be the platform of choice for cloud infrastructure, development and managed service, letting you focus on adding value to your customer base,” explains Munson. “For established cloud services providers or independent software vendors alike, our partner programme offers new opportunities and greater choice to you and your clients.”
Cube52 operates a partner programme to extend the benefits of its cloud solutions to its partners and their customers. Whether a partner is considering adding cloud services to its business for the first time, or has been investing in cloud capability for some years, Cube52’s partner programme can help further their offerings.
