Daisy Apprenticeship Sheme Hires First Recruit

MSPs
In true Lord Alan Sugar style, Daisy Group has successfully told one of its apprentices for the first time – you’re hired!

23-year-old, Jonathan Young, amongst the business’ first ever batch of apprentices, has accepted a full-time position as a Provisioning Executive on the Enterprise Provisioning Team at Daisy.

Although taking on apprentices is a relatively new scheme for Daisy, the telecommunications firm plans to provide further opportunities from spring this year as it continues to provide jobs for talented individuals who live within the area.

Jonathan arrived at Daisy with no knowledge of the telecommunications industry whatsoever, however, through his own hard work he has soon developed into becoming a valuable member of the Provisioning team.

Matthew Riley, Daisy Group CEO, said: “It’s fantastic news that we’ve been able to offer Jonathan a full-time role within Daisy reiterating our commitment to offering jobs to skilled workers that live close to our respective offices.

“We hope that this move will be the first of many as we look to offer further apprenticeship opportunities in the near future.”
