Daisy Group has employed a new specialist partner support team to underpin the product growth of its indirect channel.
The new team, which sits behind Daisy’s indirect account and sales teams, has been handpicked to provide a seamless ‘quote-to-bill’ experience for business partners and their customers.
With the addition of specialists in Data, Hosted IP Telephony and Mobile, Daisy’s business partners are able to focus on sales without having to get involved in support issues.
Andrew Wilson, Head of the Indirect Channel at Daisy, explains: “We have injected Subject Matter Experts into the new team so that we can enhance the product share amongst our business partners. Listening to the channel, we found that businesses want to enter new markets but are looking for a suitable partner supplier to help them get there.
“Already we are seeing growth in these areas. Partners who have previously only sold a couple of products are now taking advantage of this greater portfolio. We call it ‘money for nothing and your sales for free’!
“Back in January 2011 we only offered network and mobile services, since then we have grown substantially, doubling our product offering with the addition of Hosted IP Telephony and data services. The introduction of product experts into our team plays a valuable part in our objective for growth. It ensures our partners have the confidence they need to sell these cutting-edge technologies.”
Currently with over 250 business partners, Daisy’s indirect arm continually strives to increase the channel with industry-leading commission structures.
He continues: “Our most recent managed internet range, which we launched at the end of February, is one of the most far reaching in the industry. With some amazing commission rates of up to £450 for bundled broadband connections and £750 for Next Generation SDSL products, we are seeing a massive uptake from the channel in this area alone.”
