Throughout the day speakers included Siemens, Nortel, Samsung and Voicenet all of whom stressed the value of the Datasharp partnership - launching specific Datasharp incentives and highlighting their future roadmaps for the Group. Numerous suppliers’ awards were presented to Group members including Best SMB Achievement, Best Solution Sale and the Highest Volume of Sales. Together with Hosted and Network Services figures being confirmed as an outstanding success, a huge investment in staff and a 19% increase in turnover - there really was a lot to celebrate!
Roy Carter, previously Datasharp UK’s Operations Director, was also announced as the new MD for Datasharp UK Limited. As Roy commented, “I am absolutely delighted. To be appointed as MD for such a successful and progressive company as Datasharp is fantastic. I have been in telecoms for many years and already have solid relationships with many people in the industry as well as the companies in the Group. Datasharp is clearly going from strength to strength – the mixture of expert support and our portfolio truly is proving to be a winning combination for all of our members. Our Hosted Services offering is outstanding – we have in-house experts and after successful trials we are now flying with it. Hosted Services is already making a lot of our members a lot of money!”
