Delphix has formed a new partnership with Computacenter UK that will add Delphix solutions to the Computacenter portfolio. The partnership will enable Computacenter clients to provide secure, on-demand access to data, accelerating IT transformation initiatives.
Environment provisioning is the biggest bottleneck in any application project. Delphix software removes this challenge by turning manual processes for delivering non-production data that can takes days, weeks or months into self-service or automated services that take only minutes.
“Our customers are under immense pressure to deliver more IT value at less cost, and to do it faster than ever before,” said Ian Goodfellow, head of enterprise solutions and datacentre, Computacenter UK. “Computacenter is committed to enabling IT transformation, and Delphix provides secure data delivery solutions that further increase IT agility to meet these increasing demands.”
Delphix software virtualizes many data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SAP ASE as well as the full Oracle E-Business Suite application stack. Delphix software enables self-service data access for developers and testers, delivering complete and current virtual copies of data as often as needed to any number of teams. These virtual data copies can be refreshed, reset, rolled back or shared on demand. In addition, Delphix software can mask data prior to delivery of a new virtual copy, reducing the potential surface area of a data breach by creating “dummy data” for use in non-production copies.
“Delphix has built a strong technology foundation that partners can leverage to meet the IT transformation needs of customers worldwide,” said Gareth Whiting, director, EMEA channels, Delphix. “Our new partnership with Computacenter will enable customers across the UK to more easily deploy Delphix solutions that can help them keep pace in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”
