Early Demand for NEC Call Recorder

Within a week of the official launch, distributor Nimans has announced its first sale of NEC’s cost effective call recording system. A call centre in Edinburgh took delivery from a local dealer of the innovative MyCalls Call Recorder application which is easy to use and specifically developed to enhance NEC’s XN120 telephone platform.

“Demand is growing on a daily basis and this first installation within a week of its official launch demonstrates the impact this product is starting to have on the market,” said Nimans’ NEC Business Manager, Kevin Weeks.

“The dealer involved feels new market opportunities are opening up for him. On the back of the call recording business he is expecting to introduce similar systems in a further 14 of his customer’s premises across the country. There is clearly great potential with this product.”

Weeks is expecting big demand for the new application which is up to 40% cheaper than rival systems and brings call recording within reach of virtually all businesses. In addition, the ‘single interface’ application is a complete all-in-one solution which benefits from live call updates to provide immediate and accurate information.

“The system will store and archive encrypted or non encrypted recordings onto a hard drive as part of the MyCalls call management software. Because it is encrypted it can be used from a legal stand point in court, so it is particularly beneficial to the legal profession and other industries.”

Weeks added: “It is extremely low cost and easy to operate. For small to medium sized businesses such as solicitors, it makes legal call recording a must rather than a consideration. Call recording is rapidly growing into a key component of today’s modern business applications.
