IT Distributor Westcoast has marked ten years of sustained growth in Ireland with a promise to its vendors, partners and employees that ‘even more exciting times lie ahead.’
Westcoast began trading in Ireland in the autumn of 2006 when it acquired Clarity Ireland, the Irish distribution arm of Horizon Technology Group.
Dave Dunne, Director at Westcoast Ireland, said: “Clarity is a well-established brand in Irish distribution. However, over the last ten years Westcoast has moved things to a completely different level. We’ve had a decade of buoyancy.”
“That’s because nobody else offers the same level of end-to-end service in Ireland – from relationships with vendors, the opportunities that we provide to resellers, through to our ability to provide innovative financing solutions.”
Said Dunne: “The plain fact is – nobody else knows the Irish market like we in Westcoast do. And unlike most players – we are actually located in Ireland with a strong, dedicated team.”
Based in Dublin Westcoast Ireland employs 22 people and incorporates a full solutions team and other teams focused on specific areas such as CSP, HP Enterprise, HPI business and Retail.
Added Dunne: “I’m thrilled to be able to look back over ten successful years and I’d like to thank our customers and vendors for all their support. But the message I want to get across to them is ‘get yourselves ready for what’s coming next with Westcoast Ireland.’
“We’ve got some tremendously exciting plans including working with new vendors, boosting our product portfolio, and moving further into potential growth areas like retail.”
