8×8 has announced Exsel as the latest reseller to join its innovative partner programme.
As a Gold partner Exsel will now receive Fast Track Funding to accelerate business growth. The company is also eligible for Marketing Development Funds to boost its marketing operations.
The partnership with 8×8 comes at an exciting time for Exsel which is rapidly growing in Scotland. The company recently announced investment worth half a million pounds to grow the business further, the creation of 50 new jobs and further expansion with new offices in Edinburgh and Ireland, in addition to its existing offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Prior to working with 8×8, Exsel was selling less than 50 hosted seats a month, this has more than doubled in 6 months with a steady increase in ARPU. After just one year of partnering with 8×8, Exsel has gained more than 100 new customers, including Loch Lomond Golf and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. This partnership will help Exsel towards its goal to grow revenue 30% year-on-year, providing 4,000 seats a year.
The 8×8 products that Exsel will be reselling include Virtual Office, Virtual Contact Centre and EasyContactNow. A key benefit of using 8×8’s software is that it was born in the cloud and end users can use any device without the need for third party add-ons. This is particularly important as the growth of remote and flexible working means that most users expect to use the software on their phone.
Tom McDonald, Exsel Group Managing Director, commented: “We’re delighted to be working with 8×8, particularly as its only Scottish Gold partner. The technology is the best we’ve seen in the industry and the support we’ve received from the team at 8×8 is invaluable, enabling us to attract high profile customers. We’ve seen some strong results working with 8×8 since 2015 and we’re confident this latest step in our relationship will yield even greater rewards.”
Charles Aylwin director of channel and public sector at 8×8, says: “Working with fast growing and motivated partners like Exsel is key to our strategy for growth. We look forward to working together to grow our businesses and supporting our mutual customers in Scotland and further afield.”
