Demand for faster, more reliable access to the Internet is on the increase in the SME market and competition for business is fierce. BT Retail has entered the end user market for fibre broadband with very aggressive deals and resellers are struggling to compete.
To help their Partners compete, Griffin launched a zero installation FTTC campaign and reduced monthly line rentals by up to £23pcm. They have been pleasantly surprised by the resulting surge in sales.
“The response to the campaign has been far higher than we thought. We have exceeded our FTTC line sales budget by 300% in the first month in which we launched this offer. Partners have really got behind the campaign and account managers have been working hard to help target relevant sites in the bases. The launch of FTTC Ethernet recently has also been a great success. The service is as a low cost alternative to EFM using Fibre To The Cabinet backhauled over BT’s National Ethernet Network.” Lee Broxson, Head of Sales, Griffin.
