Siemens Enterprise Communications says it has seen year to year performance growth in deployments of its OpenScape and HiPath converged communications platforms.
The company has seen a year on year performance of 107 percent of sales of its HiPath 4000 converged IP platform. Similarly, 126 percent for OpenScape Voice user licenses and also a 132 percent for OpenScape UC Suite user licenses across EMEA and APAC regions. This growth is attributed to companies understanding the need to make efficiencies while improving operational productivity and streamlining processes. Managed Services remains a core strength and differentiator in the region, with over 80% of our direct customers selecting elements of our Service portfolio as part of their solution.
Companies are undergoing a cultural change of greater versatility and adapting to support an agile workforce. Large organisations need enhanced mobility to support ongoing innovation while delivering necessary cost efficiencies. The constant evolution of enterprise communications, including social networking, cloud-based models and the proliferation of mobile devices, is leading companies to realise the benefits of integrated platforms that allow collaborative working, such as UC solutions.
Through a strong customer focused approach and strategic relationships with alliance partners including Verizon, BT and T-Systems, Siemens Enterprise Communications is further extending its customer reach.
Trevor Connell, Senior Vice President, Sales, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Siemens Enterprise Communications comments that: “Enterprises are under greater pressure to support an agile workforce and require greater collaboration and communication.
