Frequency Appoints New Head of Audio

Frequency Telecom is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Gregory in the newly created role of Head of Audio. Starting with immediate effect, Gregory heads up Frequency’s Audio Division and is tasked with developing the strategic and tactical direction whilst continuing to build on the momentum already gained by the company in the audio sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Gareth Limpenny, MD of Frequency, said, “Since adding audio products to our portfolio of smartphone accessories two years ago, we have seen significant take up from our existing customer base. To increase our channel penetration and further develop our audio range, we have created a dedicated division within the company. Mike is the ideal candidate to head up this new team and brings the perfect mix of experience and specialist knowledge that will continue to strengthen Frequency’s position as a serious distributor of class-leading audio products.”

With over 20 years experience working within the specialist audio and video industry, Gregory has managed international sales and marketing roles for Chord Electronics, Optoma and, most recently, Ferrari By Logic3, where he was responsible for establishing a first-class distribution network for its range of audio products throughout Europe. Initially tasked with maximising the potential of Frequency’s existing range of audio products, Gregory will also be looking at strategic additions, which will continue to strengthen Frequency’s position as a leading supplier of cutting-edge audio products.

Commenting on his appointment, Gregory said, “It is not often that one’s own experience and the needs of a business dovetail so nicely. My experience with audio in CE and specialist retail, combined with Frequency's desire to expand ever more into this sector, is perfectly suited and I am delighted to be joining such a focused and motivated team.”
