Micro-P has recently welcomed the appointment of Gavin O’Shea, new General Manager in Networking and Communications. Gavin brings 15 years of Networking and Comm’s industry experience to his new role, having spent 12 years previously at networking distributor, Azlan.
Micro-P’s networking and communications division continues to enjoy solid growth and has seen sales up 23% year to date. This growth has been an amalgamation of an exceptional vendor line-up, a very proactive and experienced business development team and a commitment to supply in-depth technical expertise across converging technologies including unified communications, CCTV, AV, mobile, telephony and data centre solutions.
Gavin’s appointment looks to solidify Micro-P’s strategy to add value across these solutions, as well as deliver more technical excellence within the channel. “Our networking business continues to expand as we pursue more opportunities in the Enterprise space” says Phil Brown, Commercial Director, “Gavin’s wealth of experience and vendor relationships will be a key driver for our growth in 2013”.
