Gordon Murray Design and Madano Partnership agree strategic partnership

Gordon Murray Design, the automotive design company, has appointed strategic communications consultancy Madano Partnership to provide the business with ongoing communications advice as the company gears up for the commercialisation of the company’s iStream license.

Gordon Murray Design was set up in 2007 by renowned Formula One race car designer Gordon Murray, who was also responsible for the development of the F1 McLaren road car. The company aims to be the world leader in automotive design and engineering.

With the successful launch of both the T.25 petrol and T.27 electric city car prototype and the innovative iStream manufacturing process, Gordon Murray Design is fast becoming a leader in development for the motor industry.

As the interest in iStream® increases, Madano will work closely with the team at Gordon Murray Design to develop its external communication strategy surrounding the licensing of the iStream process and how it is set to revolutionise car manufacturing globally.

Professor Gordon Murray, CEO and Founder of Gordon Murray Design, said; ‘Since we started the company, everyone at Gordon Murray Design has worked hard to bring the dream of a low-cost and energy efficient manufacturing process to life, which we have with the iStream® process. Working with Madano is integral to our plan to achieve a licence in the next 12 months and bring to fruition all the hard work the team has put in over the past five years.’

Michael Evans, Partner at Madano Partnership, said; ‘We look forward to taking our working relationship with one of the most innovative companies in the business world at the moment to a new level. The team’s passion and drive is evident in their work, and we look forward to building on our project work with them through this strategic partnership to enhance their existing profile and ensure iStream® is a great international success.’
