Grant Reddin, former Business Unit Director at Avnet, has joined the recently formed channelfusion as a Director.
Having worked in the channel for over 15 years, and run a highly profitable business unit at Avnet, Grant brings with him a wealth of partner and vendor management experience.
“The storage landscape is changing rapidly, and there is a growing opportunity for forward-thinking partners to capitalise on the need for innovative storage technologies,” commented Reddin. “channelfusion is in the right place at the right time, and it’s very exciting to be part of something that is going to make a real difference to partners that want to add an edge to their storage offerings.”
Reddin did not make the move to another distributor lightly, as he explains. “Many distributors do exactly that – distribute. Channelfusion has launched with an ethos of supporting partners across their business, from defining strategies, driving enablement and creating new revenue streams. For distribution this is often a challenge, but I believe it’s where we need to focus – particularly with emerging storage technologies now causing a big stir in the market.”
Co-director of channelfusion Bruce Hockin confirmed Reddin’s appointment. “We have the opportunity to help partners change the way end users think about their storage requirements. Grant’s channel relationship skills and knowledge will be invaluable, helping our partners to build revenues from vertical markets and end-user communities that need solutions which better meet their application and data management needs.”
