Ingram Micro Cloud is hosting its latest event as it continues to invest in the cloud.
Designed to help channel partners evolve their cloud strategy for the age of digital transformation, the event takes place on 18th October at the new British Airways i360 in Brighton, home to the world’s first vertical cable car. Channel partners will be taken up 450ft to gain a new perspective on their cloud business.
Keynote sessions will look at cloud as the new normal and how partners can navigate the complexity of their customers’ digital transformation journey. Beyond this holistic perspective, sessions such as “Automating your Cloud Business” will get down into the raw details of how channel partners can prosper in these shifting sands. A range of hands-on workshops will demonstrate real action plans for developing an agile and cost-effective cloud strategy.
Chris Roche, Managing Director at Acutec spoke about their motivation for attending the event: “We are increasingly encountering a wide range of complex cloud requirements from our customers. It’s therefore clear to us that there is much opportunity for strategic growth with cloud computing services, but as with any new technology it can be challenging to orientate your business for the long-term. We’re attending this event to both learn how to service our customers’ cloud needs with more agility, and to help develop a wider strategic vision of what cloud looks like for our business.”
Roche continues: “The fact that this event addresses the entire lifecycle of cloud services and gets deep into the practicalities of being a profitable channel partner in the cloud is very attractive. There are plenty of sessions, such as “Automating your Cloud Business”, where we anticipate taking away knowledge that enables us to rapidly improve our cloud business.”
Apay Obang-Oyway, Director, Cloud Northern Europe at Ingram Micro Cloud, commented on why channel partners should attend: “Cloud computing has made and will continue to make a huge positive impact on businesses, which in turn means channel partners must adjust. With this event, we’re looking to help partners align themselves with this future; a business environment where cloud is everywhere. We hope that the inspirational surroundings of the i360 will help partners to look past their current horizons and into a new way of working.”
