iPhone 4 available today, but stocks low

Apple’s iPhone 4 is now available in the UK on all major networks. However, Vodafone ran out of stock early this morning, and O2 is only selling the device through its stores to existing O2 customers.

On O2, until at least the end of July, only existing O2 customers will be able to get an iPhone 4 from O2 shops, as well as Carphone Warehouse, Best Buy, Phones4U and Apple stores, and it will be around the same time that the device is available online from the operator.

Three seems to be offering the best prices for the device, however, it is only offering 24 month plans against its rivals’ 12 and 18 month plans. Three is additionally offering one of the highest data caps, at 1 GB, whereas the likes of O2 is stuck on the whole at 500 MB.

However, customers looking for the white iPhone 4 will have to wait till the second half of July; Apple confirmed it has experienced manufacturing problems with the white version, which has delayed production.
