The Crown Commercial Service new Network Services framework agreement is a procurement vehicle for wide range of network and telecommunications services, categorised into 10 lots.
Kcom bid for and was awarded places on nine lots, reflecting its broad capability and long standing reputation as a key supplier of communications solutions to the public sector.
Services available from Kcom under the agreement include best value services in data access services (WAN) and local connectivity services (LAN), traditional and inbound telephony, mobile voice and data solutions, audio and video conferencing.
Kcom has also been awarded lots covering IP Telephony and Integrated Communication Services, suitable for organisations with in house contact centre, collaboration or unified communications requirements.
Procurement under the framework can take place via direct award from published service offers or through either a short-form or full further competition between suppliers.
The Network Services agreement replaces the PSN Connectivity and PSN Services frameworks which have been in place for the last three years. During this time Kcom established a strong reputation in the supply of cloud-based collaboration and contact centre solutions.
The new framework award enables a wide range of organisations to benefit from Kcom’s new, innovative solutions complemented by a wide range of GCloud services available from both Kcom and its sister company Smart421, which specialises in cloud consultancy and managed services.
