IT solutions and communications specialist, Lanway, has bolstered its sales department with the appointment of Darren Winterbottom as education sales consultant.
Darren joins Lanway’s specialist education team where he will be tasked with driving new business and advising schools and colleges on IT solutions.
Darren has a wealth of experience in IT sales, with particular expertise in the education sector. He joins from Tribune Consulting Services, having previously worked for the likes of BT Local Business, Zentek Solutions and TSG. Darrenalso has a strong technical background, having begun his career as an IT technician.
Commenting on his new role, Darren said: “I have a very similar philosophy to Lanway in terms of selling IT – it’s about building solutions around customers’ needs rather than having a one size fits all approach.
“There’s a great internal infrastructure here, coupled with strong service capabilities. I’m very much looking forward to helping boost sales.”
