Lee Sutch Appointed Head of OneBill Telecom

OneBill Telecom, the UK business telecoms service provider, has announced the appointment of Lee Sutch as Head of the OneBill Telecom brand. His appointment follows the migration of OneBill’s customers onto XLN Telecom’s platform in August, following the acquisition of the business by XLN early last year.

At OneBill, Lee will be responsible for expanding its dealer channel ensuring that OneBill Telecom is delivering the right mix of services, packages and support to its dealer network. Lee will also be actively recruiting additional Partners to make OneBill Telecom one of the major channel routes for its Partners to the SME market.

Lee has over 20 years of experience within the telecoms dealer channel - working first at Martin Dawes Telecommunications within the mobile dealer channel and then helping to set up Opal’s fixed line dealer channel.

Christian Nellemann, Group CEO of XLN Telecom, commented, “We are delighted that someone with Lee’s undoubted pedigree and experience has joined us to build further on our reseller channel. Resellers are vital in this market and we have some exciting developments planned for them. We look forward to Lee expanding this important channel.”

Lee Sutch, Head of OneBill, added: ”The ‘make it happen’ attitude at OneBill Telecom is outstanding. The business is entirely geared around putting the OneBill service right at the heart of our Partners’ businesses. The level of control and detail Partners have through the OneBill online ordering tool is simply light-years ahead of the market. It is one of the slickest Partner interfaces I have come across in any market and means that Partners can sign customers up quicker, accounts provisioned quicker, and – most importantly - payment earned quicker.”

Through the OneBillI ordering tool, Partners are effectively given a real-time order delivery and fulfilment service when signing up new customers, the OneBill in-house verifications team taking care of all the contractual element of the customer sign-up. As a result, reseller Partners are able to create new customer accounts immediately and then track order progress through to the individual week that payment will be made.
