Westcon Convergence Granted Authorised Training Partner Status; Meru to Participate in Distributor’s ConvergencePoint Program
Meru Networks, the pioneer in 802.11n enterprise networking, today announces that Westcon Group, Inc., the leading speciality distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, has been appointed as a distributor of Meru Network’s equipment in the UK.
As part of the agreement, Westcon Group’s UK Convergence Business Practice will provide value-added services to complement the Meru technology range by distributing its complete portfolio of products, which includes Access Points, Controllers, System Director OS and its E(z)RF Application Suite. Westcon Group will actively target key verticals within the UK, offering Meru’s products to resellers that specialise in sectors such as education, healthcare, retail, hospitality and logistics. The company has also been granted Authorised Training Partner status, and will provide the full range of Meru training courses to its customers.
