Micro-P has announced that it is has been named Dell’s first Value Added broadline distributor in the UK. The announcement forms part of Dell’s strategy to further grow its channel business. Under the terms of the agreement, Micro-P is now able to supply Dell’s complete portfolio of storage products to its resellers, building on the existing range of Dell solutions it already offers. The move enables Micro-P’s resellers to fulfil the needs of enterprise customers, with support from its highly experienced and knowledgeable technical and service teams.
The contract increases Micro-P’s portfolio of Dell products by introducing the EqualLogic and Compellent storage ranges to Micro-P’s Dell offering. Aimed at the enterprise market, the ranges use the latest advances in storage efficiency, performance and protection, and enables Micro-P to supply virtualisation, data recovery, backup and desktop infrastructure in partnership with its reseller community. Micro-P’s resellers will benefit from having one point of contact for the full Dell portfolio and will be able to configure and promptly deliver an end-to-end solution to their customers.
