Redeem is delighted to announce the appointment of Jon Miller as UK Managing Director.
Jon has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the telecoms industry, having worked both in the UK and internationally, with some of the largest MNOs (O2, 3, BT, Orange, EE), manufacturers (Apple) and high street retailers (Tesco & Sainsbury’s).
Jon joins Redeem from Brightstar where he headed up all UK services including insurance, buy-back and trade in, financial services, reverse logistics, repair and connectivity.
Over the last four years, Redeem has transitioned from a UK-focused recycling company into a mobile phone recommerce services business. This year the company has focused on supporting clients with a range of new services including rigorous diagnostics and supply chain solutions for high quality pre-owned devices.
The launch of the iPhone 7 was a key moment for 2016 and Redeem expects to see a significant increase in trade-in volumes and £20million returned to consumers in the coming weeks.
Paul Adams, CEO of Redeem, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jon to Redeem and to have someone with such an impressive industry pedigree joining at a very exciting time for the business.”
Commenting on his appointment, Jon Miller said: “Our industry is going through a period of rapid evolution as network operators move away from traditional two-year contracts and the device subsidies that come with those plans. Redeem has recognised the need to adapt to these changing market dynamics and this presents a very exciting opportunity for me as UK Managing Director and for the rest of the team, as we look to keep the business at the forefront of customer service and innovation.”
