Moto G Available from Tech Data Mobile

Tech Data Mobile is giving business resellers the opportunity to be first to market with the new Moto G.

The new Moto G family is available to order from Tech Data Mobile with immediate effect. In addition, resellers can now also pre-order the new Moto X Play, which offers full 1080p HD resolution on a 5.5-inch screen, even longer battery life and an amazing 21 megapixel camera. A wide range of accessories for the Moto G and for all Motorola devices are also available from Tech Data.

David Brassington, Vendor Director at Tech Data Mobile commented “The Moto G is a big and exciting opportunity for dealers and resellers. It has a great specification with a screen size and features such as waterproofing that you don’t usually get on a smartphone that’s so affordable. It is going to have a very strong appeal to businesses – particularly those looking to equip their mobile workers with fast, efficient and practical smartphone that won’t break the budget. We are working closely with Motorola and we’re ready to ship from stock for overnight delivery and help partners maximise their business opportunities with the new Moto G.”

The third-generation of the Moto G has all the qualities needed by today’s demanding mobile worker. It is super-light and thin and offers an all-day battery life. Powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU, models are available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, or 1GB and 8GB storage, and a microSD slot enables further expansion of up to 32GB. The 5-inch 720p display has tough Gorilla Glass with IPX7-rated protection. It comes with full support for Android 5.1.1. There is a 13MP rear camera and it is water-resistant up to depths of one metre.

The Moto X Play is due to be released later this month and resellers and dealers can place pre-orders for shipment on the official release date of 24 August, either through their account manager or online via Tech Data’s InTouch system.
