Netskope jumps on Broadcom acquisition woes with reseller offer

Cloud
Netskope today announced a promotional bundle of its Next-Gen Secure Web Gateway (SWG) designed specifically for Symantec BlueCoat resellers struggling to support customer contract renewals amid the Broadcom acquisition of Symantec.

Arie de Groot, Head of Channel for EMEA and LatAm at Netskope explains; “We have heard from numerous sources that BlueCoat resellers with customer renewals due after 5th November will no longer be able to provide BlueCoat solutions. We understand that as part of its acquisition, Broadcom is pushing Symantec to take the top 1500 sales direct and moving forward will only allow Broadcom partners to resell. With the market moving away from old fashioned web gateway appliances, this is the perfect time for BlueCoat resellers to update their portfolio for the cloud and provide next generation secure web gateway services.”

Netskope Next-Gen Secure Web Gateway is built in the cloud, for the cloud, to best protect users and data in cloud services, apps, and web with unlimited and performance scale. As part of the Netskope Security Cloud, it provides unrivalled visibility and real-time data and threat protection when accessing cloud services, websites, and private apps from anywhere, on any device. Netskope is unique in its understanding of security for and within the cloud, and takes a data-centric approach that empowers security teams with the right balance of protection and speed they need to secure their digital transformation journey.

From now until 31st December 2019, Netskope is offering a “3-for-1” Next-Gen SWG Promotional Bundle including the following solutions:

•Inline cloud-native SWG proxy with elastic scale to inspect SSL/TLS traffic, including web filtering, advanced threat protection, bare-metal cloud sandboxing, machine learning, and security analytics.

•Inline cloud-native CASB to decode thousands of cloud services for data and threat protection, including cloud-enabled threats for cloud phishing, hosting, command-and-control (C2), and data exfiltration.
