Sennheiser Communications’ latest Bluetooth headset, the VMX Office, raises the bar for sound quality, safety and comfort, putting it into a class of its own. But it is ease-of-use that makes the VMX Office really stand out, promising to make it the headset of choice for the new generation of mobile workers.
According to a recent survey , a quarter of the world’s workforce will be ‘mobile workers’ by 2009. To help professionals on the go feel connected to their company and their colleagues, it’s crucial that they are equipped with the right communication tools. A typical ‘road warrior kit’ includes a mobile phone, a laptop and a secure remote access to the corporate network – and one headset to connect to all those communication devices, keeping calls hands-free and easy to manage.
Because the VMX Office connects via a base station to landline phones, computers and Bluetooth mobile phones, it is the only headset the mobile worker needs, even if much of the working day is spent on the move. As Guido Karbautzki, Sennheiser Communications’ Head of Sales and Marketing Communications, says “Now that more and more people are dividing their time between desk and travel, they’re becoming more reliant on mobile phones and VoIP applications running on their notebooks. This emerging ‘mobile worker’ demographic has a clear need for one headset that connects with everything.”
