Nimans Reports Record NEC Sales

Distributor Nimans is shrugging off the economic doom and gloom with record daily and monthly sales of NEC equipment. The company says demand for the XN120 system remains as strong as ever whilst the introduction of the next generation Univerge SV8100 platform has further accelerated sales performance.

NEC Business Manager at Nimans, Steve Owens, says the cost effective product range continues to give dealers a major advantage in the market, particularly in a harsher financial climate.

“There has been no evidence of an economic downturn at Nimans; we have just notched up record monthly sales of NEC CCU’s and enjoyed our best-ever daily sales of the XN120. Its versatility, functionality, scalability and cost effectiveness really stand out.”

Owens is looking forward to a busier 2009 as the emergence of the SV8100 has a bigger impact. “There’s no doubt that 2009 will be bigger and better for us,” he pointed out.” The SV8100 is a very versatile and powerful proposition which dealers are already enthusiastically embracing. The IP unified comms solution offers many innovative features for both dealers and end users. It puts the user at the centre of today’s dynamic business communication technologies and is designed to significantly improve business performance by making an entire workforce more reachable wherever they are based - encompassing fixed, mobile and converged communication such as e-mail, presence and instant messaging.”

Owens added that Nimans continues to work very closely with NEC and is providing comprehensive sales and technical training programmes throughout 2009.
